WANI is active in more than 12 river basins across over 30 countries worldwide. Their mission is to unlock the potential in healthy river basins to build climate resilience and sustain ecosystems and livelihoods.
Plan and deliver
Our collaboration with WANI began when their team realised their current website did not do justice to the wealth and depth of their material. We got on board and designed an online solution that could accommodate podcasts, stories from the field, videos and photos. It also helped them to achieve richer connections with their key audiences.
A website that looks to the future
With more than 25 projects and over 250 pages of content, WANI needed a website easy to navigate and highly scalable. Our flexible system ensures new functionality can be added as and when needed. Since first launch, we’ve implemented an interactive map that gives visitors access to key project information - and the website is ready for additional features whenever they are wanted.
Thriving in a social world
There's a buzz around the work of WANI. Their homepage will soon feature Twitter and news feeds and the website is closely connected to their Facebook, YouTube and Flickr accounts. This means their videos and photos are easy to maintain and adds an important social element to their outreach.
A successful launch
The WANI website launch in Stockholm was a great success. The community of professionals working in river basin management were excited to have access to such a wealth of resources, and a global audience can now see the difference WANI projects are making around the world.
